Life in Ancient Ohio - Late Ordovician Poster

SKU: GEO020

PRODUCT TYPE: Poster

$15.00

Poster illustrated by Kyle Hartshorn

Part of the "Life in Ancient Ohio" series, this beautiful poster depicts what Ohio would have looked like about 445 million years ago. The ancient marine life of the Late Ordovician included fascinating animals, from  sea scorpions, cephalopods, corals, and crinoids (or "sea lilies") to trilobites, including Isotelus, our official State Invertebrate Fossil, shown in the foreground. Today, Ohio rocks of this age contain fossils of these once-living organisms, many of which are long extinct.

Sized at 24 x 36 inches, the poster is printed on high-quality paper with a satin finish (no watermark on printed posters), unframed. Price includes mailing tube. A species index is included with each poster.
