Life in Ancient Ohio - Early Permian

SKU: GEO026

PRODUCT TYPE: Poster

$15.00

Poster illustrated by Kyle Hartshorn

Part of the "Life in Ancient Ohio" series, this striking poster depicts a summer scene of Ohio's ancient terrestrial environment about 295 million years ago. The plant and animal life of the Early Permian included a variety of ferns and trees, fishes, amphibians, and reptiles, as well as the imposing Dimetrodon, poised here atop a rocky outcrop. Today, Ohio rocks of this age contain fossils of these once-living organisms, many of which are long extinct.

Sized at 24 x 36 inches, the poster is printed on high-quality paper with a satin finish (no watermark on printed posters), unframed. Price includes mailing tube. A species index is included with each poster.
